Last year there was a rules discussion on how Ohtani could be treated other than the current way we have now. mocksportsfantasybb.proboards.com/thread/1106/playersI like Crosley's position which was that Ohtani would exist as two separate players in the player pool: Ohtani the hitter and Ohtani the pitcher. If Ohtani is on a roster now he can be frozen at one or the other but not both. If kept as a topper, he must be declared and a hitter or pitcher. Poll time - please vote for you favorite. Two Ohtanis as laid out above or one Ohtani (current rules).

I would vote to separate Ohtani as two different players. Next year, if an owner lands both Ohtani's, they can be separately frozen, kept, or discarded. This year Ohtani owners can not change the player they own from a pitcher to a hitter or vice versa.

We are going with option 1 for 2022. I've made the changes in the OnRoto configurations. Be sure to freeze or top your Ohtanis accordingly.

I think Ohtani should remain whatever he was when he joined the player pool and whatever changes we make should be for future players only.
