Figured I'd be the one to start this thread ... now that it sounds like MLB is going to suspend spring training and delay the season, roster prediction becomes much harder and so does drafting.
How do people feel about pushing back the drafts until we know when the season is going to start and so forth?

As someone that has a draft this weekend, I would agree with a delay on drafts/freeze lists.

I'll discuss with the other admins and advise.

To be honest, my gut feeling is go forge ahead with the auctions as scheduled. Once things reset in a month, owners may not be able to make the new draft dates. I'll let you know what the admins say. I the mean time, please keep the discussion going here.

Let’s go forward. I agree with Joe Rizzos thoughts.

I agree that rescheduling drafts would be too difficult to make a delay practical.

I'm ok either way but I prefer to forge ahead with the drafts as planned, what else do we have to look forward to right now?

Counting replies I have gotten via email from some of the admins, we have a slight majority to go ahead with the auctions as schedules. I'll leave the topic open until noon on Friday and then will make a final call.

I would prefer to delay. Things are so hectic right now for me due to contingency planning at work and so forth. However, I will do my best to abide either way.

The general consensus hasn't changed since my post yesterday so we will continue with the drafts as is. First league up is Snider on Saturday at 7PM followed by Sparky on Sunday at 7PM. Berra is tentatively scheduled for Friday, 3/27 but one owner can't make it so that is not locked down yet.
As is always the case, if an entire league (100%) votes to move the auction date then that can be accommodated.
