2020 Proposed Auction Dates

Hi Everyone,

For those of you that don't know me, I have been involved with Mocksports since the Compuserve days.  I have volunteered to be the new commissioner for the 2020 season and one of my first duties is to post the proposed auction date list.  The dates seem very early but are the same as last year relative to the start of the MLB season on March 26.

I will be sending out renewal notices this week.  Once renewals are in, the drive to find new owners will begin.  If anyone has any friends or relatives that may want to play, please express interest in this thread and the open team thread once that becomes available.  If anyone is still in contact with any players that left us in recent years, please reach out to them.  Maybe they miss us and would want to come back.

I was testing mIRC today and found that Webchat no longer exists. So I tried getting in to the draft room using the flash method and was taken to our old, no longer working, Mocksports page. I'm not as internet savvy as some of you but I suggest that someone who is take a look at this because we may need to set up something new for our draft chat room. Don't want people to find this out at the last minute and not know what to do.

Onroto has a chatroom feature. Does anyone know if that would serve our needs?

I just tried the OnRoto chat feature and it appears to work well. I don't think we can enter team number and draft spot like FOWL-07 like we normally do but it is a working chatroom.

Also, since our Mocksports home page no longer exists we should figure out where to post our rules if we want new players to join us.

You can set up for the draft by going into onroto.com and select team set up options.  Change your team name to 'FOWL-07' for the draft and submit.


After the draft is over, go back and change your team name back to it's original set up.
