Guys two seasons ago I won the Spencer Strider lottery. Since I picked him for $1, I could freeze him in my 23rd round slot. Strider will be a Makebelieve for years…possibly the rest of my life. I think this gives me a huge advantage and may not be in the best interest in the long term health of this league.
I propose that the managers of the losing teams look at the winning team(s) roster(s) and votes on which player on that roster gets bumped up a round.
Sure I won a lottery ticket and deserve to enjoy it, but it shouldn’t mean a freakin’ dynasty.
I had this evil idea today. Last season Shane McClanahan was frozen in the 20th round. I think I will be able to freeze 9 healthy pitchers, but I could freeze McClanahan at whatever round he will be this year and pick up a pitcher on the waivers to replace him. He will be a quality freezable arm when he comes back. This is either one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever had or genius. No middle ground.

Nah ... enjoy it while you can. One thing I've learned in more than 40 years of fantasy baseball. Pitchers will break your heart.

Well I’ve won 1.5 in a row. I’m freezing 15 and will almost certainly freeze 9 pitchers. I will finish my team by drafting 8 bats.
