I’m wondering if autowaived played claiming should be based on when their waiving is processed in OnRoto. Most of us search for free agents in OnRoto and some of these guys’ claiming period is over before their availability is listed in OnRoto

Rules 5.5.3b and 5.5.3c specifically state that autowaivers occur at noon on the date listed in the original new week's transactions post regardless of when the LA processes the transaction. All players subject to autowaiver during any particular week should be listed here and I don't think it's too much to ask of owners to look at the week's original post to see who is subject to autowaivers on which day of that week. If the LA is a few hours or even days late in processing the transaction why shouldn't the player be available beginning at noon on the day he is autowaived? This is no different from a player becoming available for FAAB based upon the date and the time his owner waives him by posting in that week's transaction thread as opposed to when the LA processes the transaction. Your alternative would create a period of time during which an active player isn't available to anybody. I have always wondered why some owners don't bother to read through the previous transactions and end up claiming players who were claimed a short time before their post. It really doesn't take a lot of effort to read through the week's transaction thread beginning with the original post listing who is subject to autowaiver to see who is available and who isn't.

I agree with geoflin. It isn't hard to figure out.
