Everyone has confirmed that they are ok with a change of the draft date and time to Sunday, March 17th, at 7PM EDT.
The freeze deadline will remain the same which is midnight on 3/12/2024
Please mark your calendars accordingly.

Ed, unless there's a good reason to keep the freeze deadline the same it should be midnight 3/13. The rule is below.
4.2.5 Frozen rosters and toppers will be due by midnight four calendar days before the scheduled auction date for that league

Geof
Actually there is a compelling reason for me. My prep time to get ready for the draft is limited this year. If we set the freeze date on the 13th (which by rule also requires the consent of all the managers), I will have to do my prep after midnight on the 13th or on Sunday morning after i get home. If we leave the freeze date as is, i will hopefully have that Wednesday to prep for the draft. And as I am LA'ing one league and playing in 4 other leagues I have a lot of prep work to do to prepare for each draft.
4.2.5 Frozen rosters and toppers will be due five calendar days before the scheduled auction date for that league. These dates – freeze deadline and auction date – will be announced by the Commissioner at least one month before the league’s auction is scheduled and are subject to change with the consent of league owners.

No problem, you do have a good reason. I don't know where you're getting the rule you quoted, must be an old version - I cut and pasted directly from the current rules. And the rule doesn't speak to the consent of all owners in the way you suggest - the rule states that frozen rosters are due by midnight 4 calendar days before the draft. The draft itself can be changed with consent of all owners which would result in the frozen roster date changing. If we had changed the auction to 3/15 then frozen rosters would be due 3/11 and would not require any further consent. So barring anyone else objecting I agree to change back to 3/12.

Geoff, the rule i copied above was taken from the rules under Mocksports - Rules - Current rules. There are several more sentences after the first two above in rule 4.2.5 I am just trying to keep my head above water during the auction hell week which at my age is becoming more difficult. So the draft date has been changed from Saturday, March 16th at 7 PM EDT to Sunday, March 17th, at 7 PM EDT The freeze deadline of Tuesday night March 12th by midnight remains the same.

Where do you find the bolded? I don't see it anywhere or remember it even being discussed.

Geoff,
the current rules show 4 days not 5 days. I downloaded my copy from the Mocksports site sometime last year and what I downloaded shows 5 days. So it was changed at some point. I am guessing I downloaded my copy sometime around the time discussions began on rules changes.
but the second sentence hasn't changed regarding consent.
