from 2020 - In a thread I said I assume it is not controversial that we are using the Vickery method for FAAB. From Geoff: VICKREY FAAB: For winning bids, the number of units deducted from the winner’s FAAB budget shall be the amount of the second highest bid, plus one (1). Under this rule, if an owner bids $4 and no one else bids, the owner gets the player for $1. Joe agreed. I post to avoid confusion particularly for new owners. I do not think the 2019 rules have yet been modified to embrace Vickerey.
